Barbara Ann (Burress) Brown (70) was born July 23, 1954 to Charles (Chuck) and Gladys (Gay) Burress in Millington TN at the Naval Hospital. She Passed away on February 21, 2025 at her home in Leesburg, Ga surrounded by her family. No services will be held at this time.
Barbara met the love of her life and soulmate Kenneth (Ken) in Key West, Florida where he was serving in the United States Marine Corps in 1976, they married in September 1977, and the real Barb and Ken story began, they danced their way through the next 47 years.
Barb was a dedicated, talented, affectionate, supportive wife, mother, sister and friend. Her talents were endless and included poetry, calligraphy, quilting, cross stitch, jewelry making, drawing, painting, cooking from scratch and many other activities. She never hesitated to share her knowledge, skills and abilities with anyone who sought her mentorship.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and brother Jessie Edward Burress. She is survived by her husband Kenneth, daughter Tracy (Philip); her son Jason, three grandchildren Riley, Annah and Cassidy, her brother Charles (Laverne), her sister’s Kathy (Roy), Tina (James), Debbie (Hank) and many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
