Barbara Fludd Burrell

Barbara Claretha Fludd Burrell was a blessed woman! She was born on January 14, 1945 to the late Johnny and Bertie Fludd in Evergreen, South Carolina. She departed this earth on October 30, 2023.
She was raised in DeLand, Florida, and attended primary and secondary schooling in Volusia County Schools. Upon her high school graduation in 1963 from Euclid Jr-Sr High School, Barbara departed for college in Orangeburg, South Carolina to attend Claflin University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in early childhood education. Barbara served in various public schools for forty-eight years; teaching and mentoring young people was not only her passion, but also her purpose.
Barbara was a faithful member of Royal Temple FME Church during her early years and as an adult, she served at Trinity Church in Deltona, Florida.
She was united in holy matrimony to Winfred LaVel Burrell on June 19, 1971, and they had one daughter, Wendy Michelle.
Barbara's parting leaves to mourn her passing a host of family, friends, and many, many students.
