Barbara Buttler Obituary
Ashland – Barbara Buttler, 81, of 708 High Road, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on December 16, 1943 to the late Ralph and Alta (Schulte) Cozad. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in SanMateo, California.
Barbra married Arlis Buttler, who preceded her in death. She worked as a supervisor for Pacific Telephone.
Barbara is survived by a daughter, Laura Schicatano of Ashland; three grandsons, Andrew Nelson of CO, Jeno Schicatano and his wife, Katrina of Marion Heights, and Angelo Schicatano of Ashland; two great grandsons, Gabe Nelson, and Jeno Schicatano, Jr.; a great granddaughter, Vivianna Schicatano; three brothers, Ralph Cozad and his wife, Kathy, Donald Cozad and his wife, Darlene, and Randy Cozad and his wife, Susan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Arthur Schicatano, Jr.
