Barbara Calloway

Barbara Kate Calloway was born in New Brockton, AL on September 4, 1950. She died while residing in Fernandina Beach, FL with her sister, Wanda J. Halminski on June 21,2022.
She was married to James (Ted) Calloway for 41 years, who died in 2008. They had a special love for each other.
Kate was also an accountant throughout her working career.
She and her family resided in Deatsville, AL for most of her life and in Houston TX for a few years.
Kate's mother, Juanita McDaniel Johnson, and father, Joseph F Johnson from Coffee County, AL.
Katie is survived by her son, Michael Calloway of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl; Tanya Kay Calloway, Houston Tx; grandchildren, Tyler Conter, Reilly Calloway Hall, Shaffer Mindrup, Zachary Mindrup, and Ashlee Kate Mindrup; great-grandchild, Alla Faye Mindrup. She is also survived by her siblings, Ann J Bowers, Enterprise AL, Bobby F. Johnson, Mobile, AL, Kathie Valenti, Panama City, FL Martha Hicks, Dothan, AL and Wanda J. Halminski, Fernandina Beach, FL; and lots of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and they loved her so very much.
Graveside Services will be held at Lake Hill Baptist Church-Deatsville Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with her nephew, Mark Bowers officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Ted Calloway.
