Barbara Jean Carter, formerly known as Barbara Glass, was born on June 8, 1941, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.
Barbara was a loving mother to her daughter, Evelyn Parker, and a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, Hadley Parker and Carter and Lance Young. She was proud of her family and held a special place in her heart for every moment spent with them.
In 1978, Barbara married Tommy Carter, who has since passed away. Together, they built a life filled with love and companionship. Barbara was also the daughter of Walker and Myrtle Glass, who have now passed on.
Barbara had a passion for flowers and a deep fondness for cats. She enjoyed nurturing her garden and finding joy in the beauty of nature. Her simple pleasures brought her great happiness throughout her life.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the love she shared with her family. Barbara's presence will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all who knew her.
She will be cremated at her wishes.
