Barbara Jo Casto, 74, of Marietta, Ohio went to meet her Lord and her family on November 10, 2025, following a short illness. She was born on September 13, 1951, in Parkersburg, WV to Nelson Paul and Melba (Huey) Schwendeman.
Barb was a proud graduate of Fort Frye High School, and had worked for many years at Forma Scientific.
She spent many hours crafting wreaths and floral arrangements for friends and family. Barb was a collector of Middleton Dolls. She was kind, caring, loving and giving, as well as loved by her neighbors and friends. She not only allowed friends and family to visit and see her dolls, she was also known to give her dolls as gifts to the girls in her life.
She is survived by Larry Benny Hall, her long-time companion; niece, Lisa (Darren) Scott; Larry’s nieces, Shelly (Bill) Bickford and Beth (Jim) DeMark. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping, traveling and visiting Amish country with her nieces.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jeff, Rusty, Randy, Dana and Donna; and her two beloved cats, Niki and Cali.
Abiding Barb’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Salem Twp. Cemetery.
