It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Centers , who dedicated 40 years of service as Secretary at the Warren County Extension Office. A cherished member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years, she played an integral role in the community, teaching Sunday School to children ages four and five for two decades and serving on the Hospitality Committee for 20 years.
Barbara had a profound love for cooking, spending quality time with family, and reading, which brought joy to her life.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul Centers; father, Herbert Webb; mother, Louise Lewis; brothers, Freddie and Ronnie Lewis; sister, Shirley Lewis; nephew, Jeff Cummings; and niece, Kim Roth.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Talley (Dale); granddaughters, Brittany Young (Tony) and Kaitlin Covington (Jackson); and great-grandchildren, Milo and Clancy Young, and Lucas and Maddie Covington (coming February 2025). Also surviving are her sisters, Sue Skaggs (Lonnie) and Patricia Cook (Bill); brothers, Charles Webb (Judy) and Tony Lewis (Amanda); along with several nieces and nephews.
