I spent a week in 2018 with Barbara in Bhutan, then two weeks in Northern India, then in 2020 several weeks traveling to Eastern Island, followed by Patagonia. Last summer we began discussing visiting the Stans, and today found Barbara's obituary. So sad! 70 is way too young - too many countries to visit and eclipses to see. I miss you Barbara. RIP.

Barbara was a true friend; I am so sorry to hear her passing. We worked together when I was in VT and developed friendship. I have outmost respect for Barbara and forever cherish knowing her. The comfort of seeing Barbara again may be taken away, but not her fond memories. Rest In Peace dear friend.

I am so saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. I met her when she periodically came to the University of Vermont as a per diem pathologist. I always enjoyed conversing with her, getting her advice about work and life, and hearing about her travels. What a wonderful person! The type of person you feel glad and lucky to have met. I wish the family my sincere condolences. May her beautiful memory help soothe the pain and sadness of her absence.
