Barbara Ann Coleman, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at The Villa in Rose City, Michigan. She was born on November 18, 1959, in Pontiac, Michigan to Ronald and Betty (Sawyer) Coleman. Barbara lived in West Branch/Clear Lake since 1982, formerly of Waterford, MI. She was a cherished sister, aunt, and a beloved friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many around her.
Barbara was a proud graduate of Waterford High School, completing her education in 1977. Her career was dedicated to the service of others, as she worked diligently as a commercial janitor for both Taylor Door and Ogemaw County Courthouse.
She found great joy in crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that often-brought smiles to those fortunate enough to receive them. Her love for animals was profound; she had a soft spot for dogs and was fortunate enough to share her life with two wolves that she owned for many years.
Barbara will be remembered by her siblings: Susan (Ron) Orr, Ronald “Pete” (Dawn) Coleman, Michael (Laura) Coleman, and Cindy (Roger) Adams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Betty (Sawyer) Coleman, as well as her sisters, Debbie and Jeanette.
Her legacy will continue to live in the stories shared by her family and friends, reminding us all of the beauty of a life well-lived. She will be missed but remembered, her spirit ever-present in the laughter and love she so freely gave.
Cremation has taken place.
