In memory of
January 25, 2010
Dear Tina, Jimmie, Danny and Joy and families, we wish we could make everything better for you and that we could make your hearts feel light again, and bring big smiles on your faces.
Unfortunately, there are no magical solutions, no magic wand and no magic words. Only time, and the love you'll hold in your hearts forever for Barbara, will provide you with the strength that you'll need to get through each day.
It's truly obvious that Barbara had a very loving family. Her love, talent, and special memories will live on through many generations to come. Try to keep things in perspective and realize that you were blessed with many years of happiness with friends and family and that those years were filled with lots of fun. With your strong, inner qualities, wisdom, and optimistic outlook, we know you'll be okay. You all have a loving family and the Haven family who loved Barbara and will always hold her dear in our hearts.
We love you and feel your pain. Thank you so much for the opportunity of getting to know Barbara and each of you. Each of you have touched our lives in a very special way and will always have a special place in our hearts. With our Deepest Sympathy, Linda and John Bishop and your Haven family.

Barbara was my granddaughter Jasmine's first Sunday School/nursery teacher in 1996 at Varina Baptist. Jasmine loved Sunday School and Ms. Barbara. Every Sunday morning she would run down the sidewalk and past the ushers for a big hug from Ms. Barbara. She never wanted to leave when it was time to go. Sorry I missed the funeral, I just heard about it today.

Ok Danny, Joy, Tina, Jimmy and family
I am rewriting this because the first time did not take. I am very sorry for the loss of your mom Barbara. I loved her some much, her and Big Jim were like parents to me. Alot of my childhood memories were created by them. They had such a love for children, maybe thats why I have that love for children. I only hope that I can make an impression in childrens hearts the way they did. After all I was their PASQUALI =) I wanted to take this time to share some of the grand memories they gave me: to start I could never do wrong in their eyes, the car rides with Barbara singing Old Macdonald had a farm, always going to church with her ( I can remember that brown four door car and sitting in the back just as happy as could be, i think it was brown? I was the only one that could run right upstairs and get Danny up every morning and I always got to go hit golf balls with, that meant that i could go past the boundary line in the yard, Joy always let me braid her longgggg hair, Tina was always the one to hide us during hide and seek and well Jimmy he was like my dad as I grew up. I always said he will one day build me a car just like celebration( were is it =) Barbara would always make me stay at the table to eat my veggies and i hated them( Big Jim would always come to my rescue) all the naps I took were right there on Big Jims belly not on the floor. I can remember Barbara putting soap in me and Jason Cusics mouth because we were cursing, I did not get rescued by Big Jim he must have been gone. Well I just wanted say I love yall both and I will always remember Barbaras laugh. If any of you need anything I am always here. I love and miss you.
I will always be your PASQUALI =)
Much Love

Danny, Joy, Jimmy,TIna and family
I just wanted to take the time to say I am really sorry for your loss. I loved Barbara so much and Big Jim they were like second parents to me. Most of my childhood memories are from being with them. I was their little PASQUALI and could never do wrong. Some of the memories I would like to share: car rides with Barbara singing Old-Macdonald had a farm, went to church with her all the time, I was always last at the Kitchen table because I hated eating veggies ( Big Jim would always come to the Rescue) , I was allowed to go up stairs and get Danny up every morning, took all my naps on Big Jims Belly, allowed to play golf with Danny, loved playing with Radar, for some reason I liked to go in the basement with Big Jim while he did wood work, Joy would always let me braid her long hair, Tina always played hide and seek with us (really she would hide us and we would just stay there) and well for Little Jimmy I grew up with him being like my dad (all my dates had to meet him first and one took me home right after ha ha ha) Barbara and Big JIm were the most loving, kind and caring couple you could ever meet. I will truly miss her even though I had not seen her in a while she is always in my heart and both her and Big Jim helped mold me to who I am today, maybe thats were I get my passion for children (they love children and made such differences in lives) I hope to do the same someday with them in mind. I could go on forever but last I would like to say I loved her laugh I can hear it now. Barbara I Love you and will miss you but I am also glad that you and Big Jim are back together now. Much love to all your family and if any of you need anything I am here for you.
Much Love,
Kelley Felts Simon ( Pasquali)

Miss Barbara has been a part of our life for a long time and we always enjoyed every minute spent in her company. You could tell how much she loved her children and grandchildren in every conversation you had with her. Her last years weren't quite as easy for her but she was blessed with devoted children and her children were blessed with her presence. You are all in our hearts and prayers.
