On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the world lost a compassionate spirit and faithful child of God, Barbara Ann Crawford, at the age of 69. Born on March 12, 1956, in Elkton, MD, Barbara filled her years with love, service, and a vibrant legacy that will echo through the hearts of all who knew her. She spent over 40 years dedicated to the field of social work where she made an indelible impact on countless lives within Cecil County.
As an active member of Bay Church, Barbara was a beacon of faith and strength within her community. Her love and commitment to her family were paramount; she is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Barney Crawford of Elkton, MD, her loving sons, Jason Crawford (Brandy) and Jeremy Crawford all of North East, MD, and her cherished daughter, LeeAnna Fullis (Ryan) of Elkton, MD. Her grandchildren, Rylea, Chace, Madelyn, and Bailee, brought her immeasurable joy, and she will forever be remembered for the warmth and wisdom she imparted to them. She also leaves behind two aunts and numerous cousins whom she loved dearly.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Robert L. & Anna Mae Hatfield.
Barbara's spirit will be honored in a funeral service at Bay Church, 2256 Pulaski Highway, North East, MD on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 12:00 noon, with a public viewing preceding the service beginning at 10:00 am. The family invites all who knew and loved Barbara to join them in celebrating a life beautifully lived.
