I met Randie through Diana Vanderbuilt's writing class and was taken by her ability to bring a story to life through creative reading. Even though I didn't have the privilege of knowing her for very long she made feel so welcome at the class with her humor and caring.

It was a privilege to know Randie Cummings, who I met in Diana Vanderbilt's Memoir classes. Her spirit was always welcoming. Her hospitality was generous. I thoroughly enjoyed her torch song singing. She was a gift to the world.

I only knew Randie for a few years as a helper to Diana. She had many hidden talents and was much appreciated

Via NSB writing class, I was privileged to meet Randie and enjoy seeing her off 'n on during the last five or so years of her life. I appreciated her strong forthright and often humorous and always fearless sharing of her outlook on life as well as resonant readings. If but for only a fleeting amount of time, it was an honor to know her. Heartfelt best wishes to those of us she left behind.
