Barbara Curran Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 6, 2025.
Bedford, NH -- Barbara "Auntie" Ann Curran, aged 86, passed away peacefully surrounded with love at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH on November 4, 2025.

Barbara was one of five children born to Albert and Rose Raynor of Canaan, NH. She lived a simple life taking care of her mother in later years and being the glue that held the family together. The Raynor family was gifted with many artistic talents between the five siblings. One brother and three sisters all predeceased her.

Auntie loved doing cross stitch, jigsaw puzzles, diamond art scenes, and adult coloring books as well as other activities including bingo. She loved Native American music and artwork which reflected in her peaceful approach on life. Her love of nature was ongoing, she especially loved going to the Ocean and eating fresh seafood, watching the waves, and visiting Lighthouses, enjoying nature, gardening, raising chickens and bees while living in Litchfield with her niece and caretaker Michael. She always loved new recipes and Chinese food that she helped create at home. Auntie always had a positive outlook on life, helping others smile was one of her most remembered traits. Her positive and outgoing personality always made the world a better place.

She leaves behind her niece, Frances Morgan (Miranda), and spouse, Michael, of Litchfield, NH, and two nephews, Kevin Skinner and Richard Tucker, and their spouses.

She will forever be remembered for her smile and her love of life.
