Barbara Ann Damron

Barbara Ann Stone Damron, age 84, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. She lived a long
life filled with creativity, kindness, and love for the people around her.

Barbara was born on March 22, 1941, to Lucien Edgar Stone and Lilly Earline Harris.
Throughout her life she was known for her gentle nature, patience, warm smile, and the joy she
found in creating things with her hands.

She dedicated many years of her life to her work at Mahoney Property Management, where she
was employed from 1985 until her retirement in 2019. During her time there, she was known for
her reliability, strong work ethic, and the relationships she built with coworkers and residents
alike. Her long career reflected her commitment and the pride she took in doing her work well.

She had a deep love for sewing, crocheting, and candle making and many who knew her were
fortunate enough to receive one of her handmade creations. Whether it was a blanket, scarf, or
carefully stitched project, each piece reflected the time, skill, and love she put into her works.
Barbara also enjoyed bowling, a pastime that brought her many happy moments and friendships
over the years.

Barbara will be remembered for her warm heart, quiet generosity, and the simple ways she
showed love and care to others. Her creativity and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone
who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Ramsey, husband Chris, and their children Nick and
Natalie; her son Bruce and his children Thomas Spina, Anthony Hammond, and Julia Hammond;
her son Mark Hammond, his wife Terry, and his children Marquita Hammond, Mark Hammond,
and Candace King; and her son Tony Richard and his children Elisabeth Richard-Specht and
Kate Richard. She is also survived by her sister Billie Jean Smith, nephew Jason Smith, and her
beloved seven great-grandchildren and great-great granddaughter Layla Gunnels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucien Edgar Stone and Lilly Earline Harris; her sister
Ruth Wallace; and her granddaughters Kimberley Hammond and Angela Spina.

Barbara's memory will live on through the many lives she touched and the handmade treasures
she left behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
