Barbara L. Danso

Barbara L. "Barb" Danso, 61, of Warren passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 29, 2010 in St. Elizabeth Hospital from complications following surgery. Born January 21, 1949 in Warren, Barb was the daughter of Elmer and Elizabeth "Betty" (Gilmore) Eyrich of Cortland and was a lifetime area resident. She completed the Trumbull Hospital School of Nursing program and worked as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. Barb loved to read and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Also a superb baker, her baked and canned goods will be missed. Barb was a member of both the Ohio Nurses Association and the Maternal Child Health Organization. Barb is survived by two daughters, Adrianne (Sean) Danso of Howland Twp and Corissa (David) Danso-McWhirter of Indianapolis, IN, a grandson, Gavin McWhirter, her parents Elmer and Betty Eyrich of Cortland, a sister, Kathy M. Storey of Warren, brother, Bruce W. Eyrich of CO, several nieces and nephews, a great nephew, and her companion Bob Morgan of Warren. She was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents. Family and friends will be received Sunday afternoon from 4 until 7PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel as well as for one hour prior to the funeral service. The Rev. Judith Fundoulas-Myers will officiate a funeral service Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at 11AM at the funeral home. Concluding the funeral and according to Barb's wishes, cremation will take place and burial will be held in the Crown Hill Burial Park at a later date.
