Barbara Coombs Davidson passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with dementia.
Barbara was born on March 29, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Andrew LaVoy Coombs and Wilma Betty Seely Coombs. She graduated from West High School and went on to build a strong work ethic in the dental and finance industries, often working multiple jobs at a time while raising her three girls. She later retired from Zions Bank after a successful 20-year career.
Barbara is survived by her daughters: Angela Evans; Andrea Davidson Lopez (Joe); and Cynthia Davidson (Mike). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Hollie Evans (AJ), Taylor Evans (Kylee), Whitney Braithwaite, Landon Braithwaite (Rashel), Cody Braithwaite, Andrew Lopez (Angelis), Keaton Bonacci, and Kade Davidson Bonacci. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Ellison, Kashton, McKenlee, Nixon, Rowan, Finley, Brixton, Sawyer, and Indy on the way. She is further survived by many loving friends who were like family to her.
Outside of spending cherished time with her family and friends, Barbara had a passion for crocheting, baking, car show cruises, and her famous Wendover fun bus adventures with her sister Betty. She treasured the many trips, laughs, and memories made with her girlfriends throughout the years.
Barbara had a bright, energetic personality and was always known for her selfless heart and willingness to serve others. She touched countless lives with her generosity, warmth, and unwavering love.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on February 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home (4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah).
