Barbara Jean Davis (Frazier), age 85, of East Lansing, passed away February 6, 2026. She was born on November 1, 1940, in Naubinway, MI, to Beatrice (Pond) and George Frazier. Barb graduated from Engadine High School in 1959. She served in the U.S. Air Force before meeting her husband, Daniel T. Davis, in Lansing, MI. They married on September 11, 1965, and raised three children, Daniel Jr., Jennifer, and Madeline. Barb was a proud member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. She attended St. Joseph's Greek Melkite Catholic Church and was an active member, participating in the Ladies Society, as well as teaching Catechism in the Church's early days. She retired from Xerox as an executive secretary and had many hobbies. She especially enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family throughout her lifetime. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her Husband, Daniel Davis Sr., her son, Daniel Davis Jr., and siblings, Betty Stansbury, Delores Brackenbury, Catherine Nolton, William Frazier, Alex Frazier, George Frazier, Mary Oven, David Frazier, and Harold Frazier. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Ken) Perrin of Saint Johns and Madeline Nash of Lansing; her granddaughters Vivian Nash, Cynthia Nash, and Lillian Nash of Lansing; her siblings Sarah (Dave) Walsh of Naubinway, Walter Frazier of Naubinway, and Peter Frazier of Traverse City; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Melkite Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. A mercy meal will follow at the church. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the church in memory of Barbara Davis.
