To all of Mrs. Dengler's family and friends,

I am saddened to find out about Mrs. Dengler's passing last month. I did not have a personal relationship after having her as a teacher, but I do hold many fond memories even to this day, 30+ years later. May you all be surrounded by love and comforted by cherished memories of Mrs. Dengler and the many of the blessings she has bestowed upon family, friends, her students and the community as a whole. Sending my deepest condolences ...

Mrs. Dengler was one of the sweetest, caring teachers! I didn't have her but she took care of my class quite often in the morning while our teacher got herself together. That was back in 1986. Years later I saw her again at my sister's salon and she still remembered me! We would sit and talk and she was just a lovely lady. She will be missed!

I will miss Barb so very much. Her laughter was infectious & she was Such a joy to be with. She was my cousin. My brother, Jonathan & I would get together when he visited from out of state. Barb was always so kind to me & was always so proud to speak of her children & grandchildren. And she always spoke of her fondness for her many students. She will be surely missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing.I have a lot of childhood memories of her and Harry. My mother and her mother were close. I was named Barbara Ruth after her and was their junior bridesmaid. She will be greatly missed, a very special lady.

As a teacher of grade one children, Barbara was a member of the Terrific Tawanka Team (TTT). She was bright, creative, and loving toward her students, their families, and all of the staff. Her dedication to teaching and learning was the springboard to lifelong learning for her students. Barbara's family were auxiliary members of the TTT by their support of H&SA activities, attending school concerts, and offering gardening advice. And what a pleasant coincidence when Barbara's son-in-law, Michael Pennington, became our Community Police Officer visiting with students in the cafeteria and recess yard. It was impossible to not love Barbara because she was just that genuine! On behalf of the Terrific Tawanka Team, I offer my sincere and heartfelt condolences to Barbara's family.

I am extremely sad to lose one of my very best friends. Barbara and I shared many days together, enjoying every conversation. Barbara faithfully attended a Bible Study which I hosted in my home and she was an active, interested, participating, member. She was a wonderful Christian person, and exhibited many attributes which were Christ-like. She cared about people. and was always interested in helping others in any way. I will greatly miss her, but I know I will see her in heaven. She is safe in the arms of Jesus.
