Barbara Doker Obituary

Born on March 7, 1933 in Winter Garden, FL, she was the daughter of the late Odell Jones and Christine Bledsoe Jones and raised by the late Henry L. "Pete" Foxworth and Arlie Jones Foxworth. Mrs. Doker was a former CNA with Tugaloo Home Health and Heritage Inn Nursing Home, and she was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two daughters Rhonda Bachelor (James) of Flowery Branch, GA, and Kim Wilson of Hartwell. Twelve grandchildren and several great & great-great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Doker is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Joseph Rufus Doker; and son: Randy Doker.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Doker will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
