Barbara M Domenick

Barbara May (Boswell) Richard Domenick, 86, of PORTAGE LAKES went home to be with the Lord, November 1, 2025. She was born June 2, 1939 in Barberton, Ohio to the late John and Pauline (nee White) Boswell. Barbara was a proud graduate of Norton High School, Class of 1957. 

She was a hard worker all her life and devoted herself to raising her two children on her own. Barbara previously worked at General Tire and later bartended at the White House before it became known as The Upper Deck in the Portage Lakes. She went on to build a successful career as a real estate agent with Cutler Realty, where she enjoyed helping families find homes of their own. Barbara loved spending time with her friends, meeting up with former classmates, and being surrounded by her husband, family, and grandchildren — all of whom will dearly miss her warmth, laughter, and love.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Vicky Lyn Domenick. She is survived by her loving husband, Marlin Domenick; her son, Rick Richard; brother, Lyn Boswell; granddaughter, Angella and stepchildren, Marlin, Scott, Gina, Mark and great granddaughter, Chloe. Barbara’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. 

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral Services will be held 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating. Inurnment will be held 12:45 p.m. November 13, 2025 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, Ohio 44273. FOR THOSE THAT WISH TO ATTEND PLEASE BE AT THE CEMETERTY NO LATER THAN 12:30 p.m.
