Barbara Ann Dotson, 67, passed away Friday, March 22, at her residence.
She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and attended the Cove Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Dewitt and Willie Mae Gibson Johnson; daughter, Teri Ann Johnson; two grandsons, Charles Mack Hickman and Rusty Leroy Adams; two brothers, Charles Mae and Carl Allen Johnson; and sister, Mary Ruth Hickman.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Dotson of Graysville; two daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Creek and Lisa (Paul) Hindman; son, Charles Hickman, all of Graysville; three sisters, Reda Mae McGinnis, Donna Johnson Reed and Fannie Marie Stewart, all of Dayton; two brothers, Bobby (Diane) Johnson and (Cindy) Gibson, all of Dayton; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 26, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with speaker Tony Potter officiating. Burial will be in Burchard Cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday, March 26. from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
