Jerry & Peg Petersen

Mom and dad were not only neighbors, but close friends of Barb and Ed. Peg and I visited them both at Platt River, and in Florida on several occasions to renew old memories. We are thankful for the opportunity to have known them both. Our sympathies to Judy, Tom and the families. A special thanks to Judy for keeping us informed.

One of my favorite memories of living up north was riding my bike to your mom & dads store. I know your mom was one of my moms favorite cousins. I can't be there for the celebration of her life, but I will be thinking of all of you. I remember Barbara ironing a sheet on a strange looking machine and telling me this was her favorite sheet. Not getting it, she said because it was her last one. You had great parents. Margo

The Dow Family always wecomed our family into their home. We always had a lot of warm, friendly times together. Barbara was a wonderful woman. Mom always spoke so fondly of her. She was guenuine, friendly and courageous. I had hoped to have a visit with her and bring Bud. He would have loved a visit, too, but has been unable to leave the Manistee Medical Care Facility. Our thoughts are with Judy and Tommy and the rest of the family. It's hard to lose your mother.
With love, Nancy Stilson
