Barbara Dowling Obituary
Barbara was born on December 24, 1938, in Dyer County, to Evelyn and Cecil Hall. Barbara was known for her strong work ethic and desire to help others.
Early in life, she was a church pianist and Sunday school teacher. She was owner of Barbara's Beauty Shop in Dyersburg. Later, Barbara built and designed homes. She loved her family and enjoyed working in her garden, flower beds and was an avid reader.
Left to cherish her memory are two children, Renee Hall, Carol Galloway (Robert). Three grandchildren Britta Waller, Michael Work (Melissa), and Keaton Galloway. Five great grandchildren Allie Reed, Madison Work, Mason Word, Elijah Gibbs and Ella Walters. She is survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
She was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Waller.
Barbara's kindness, humor and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
