Barbara Anne Durden, 85, wife of the late George Thomas Durden, passed away on July 18, 2025. Born in St. Petersburg, FL, she was the daughter of the late Donald Thomas Link and Charity Bryan Link and mother to the late Greg Dillard. Barbara Anne retired from Winn Dixie as the Deli Manager. She and her mother in 1970 opened the first daycare in Watkinsville, A Childs World. She was a member of Unity Station Church. Survivors include her son; Randy (Shari) Dillard; Winterville, daughter in law; Lynn Dillard; Gratis, brothers: Mike (Robbie) Link, Watkinsville, Doug (Barbara) Link, Montgomery, Alabama and Tommy (Billie) Link ,Watkinsville. Survivors also include 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved "Daisy". Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 2PM at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Oconee Chapel. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Quiet Oaks Health Care Center for their tender loving care.
