BARBARA JUNE EARLES FOWLER
Barbara June Fowler, 78, of Union Springs, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at a hospital in Montgomery.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Macedonia Baptist Church of Bullock County Cemetery, located at 4211 County Road 15, Union Springs, Alabama.
Mrs. Fowler was born in Stills Crossroads, Alabama, to the late Raymond Woodrow Earles and Minnie Ree Watts Earles. She attended Bullock County High School and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Troy University, Montgomery Campus.
Throughout her career, she devoted herself to caring for others. She began her nursing career in the Neonatal Department at Baptist South Hospital, served as a Nursing Supervisor at HealthSouth, and later worked as a Home Health Nurse until her retirement.
Mrs. Fowler loved spending time with her family and enjoyed fishing alongside her beloved husband.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tim Earles.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bennie Fowler; daughter, Gina Pilkington; sons, Michael Duncan (Melanie Brace), Jeffrey Dykes (Kara), and Jeremy Dykes (Bridget); grandchildren, Blake Brooks (Rebecca), Megan Kerr (Jared), Haley Robbins (Trey), Jackson Dykes, Tara Kate Dykes (Trace Peterson), Alyssa Dykes (Kaleb Richard), and McKenna Dykes; and great-grandchildren, Anna Hall, Aiden Kerr, Adley Kerr, and Haven Brooks. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Earles (Martha); sister, Kathy Vinson (Timothy Cooper); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Fowler will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.
