Barbara Ann Erwin Good peacefully passed away on October 9, 2023, in Edmond, OK, at the age of 89. She was born on January 12, 1934, in Electra, Texas, to Martin and Vernis Erwin. Barbara was a loving and vibrant woman who cherished her family and friends deeply. She will be remembered for her boundless energy and zest for life.
Barbara had a wide range of interests and hobbies. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, dancing, sewing, painting, and making jewelry. A good margarita was always a welcome treat for her. She had a keen eye for fashion and owned two clothing boutiques, Phoebe's & GiGi's, in OKC. Barbara also worked at clothing stores Clark's and Cecil's during her career.
Barbara is survived by her sons and their spouses: Jack D Good & Linda, Mark R Good & Kay, and J Grant Good & Michelle. She is also survived by her daughter and spouse, Kelle G Stephens & Terry. Barbara's brother, Don Erwin, and his wife Sandy & sister-in-law, Janis Erwin will miss her dearly. In addition, she leaves behind grandchildren: Justin Good & Ingrid, Jarrett Good & Kira, Brooke Stapleton & David, Kristopher Good, Brock Woodland, Brittney Thaler & Nathan, and Blakele Stephens. Her great-grandchildren, Macie, Jaxon, Harper, Ashlyn, Kannon, Dawson, Emerson, Scarlett, Charlotte, and Colt brought immense joy to her life.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Vernis Erwin, her beloved husband, Jack R Good, her brother Jack, sisters Lola, Geneva, Marie, and Billie Doris and grandson Nicholas Clay Good.
Barbara received her education at Holliday Texas Primary School and Holliday Texas High School. She was a woman of faith and worshipped at the First Christian Church of Moore, OK.
A graveside service will be held at the Holliday, Texas Cemetery on October 28th at 1:00 pm. Following the service, a gathering will take place at the Taco Darlin' in Wichita Falls, TX, on Kell Street. The funeral arrangements are being handled by John M Ireland Funeral Home, located in Moore, OK 73160.
Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her vibrant spirit and love for life will forever remain in our hearts.
