Barbara Fenning Obituary
Barbara was born on October 8, 1946 in Bronx, New York as the oldest of three children. She attended Walton High School and after graduation, she became a mother and focused on providing for her family through various waitressing jobs. In 1988, she moved to Pinellas County, Florida from Middletown, NY. Years later, Barbara began working for the St. Petersburg Times where she would later retire from. She was an avid reader with a love for crossword and jigsaw puzzles, country music, football, and nascar. Barbara was known for being a straight shooter and was loved by many for her great sense of humor and feisty personality. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Fenning, her son Scott Dow and her parents John Fox and Patricia Herman.
She is survived by her daughters, Eileen (Darren) Radcliff of Slidell, LA and Patricia (Hernan) Diaz of Clearwater, FL. Her grandchildren Alexandra (Jeremy) Terrell of Troy, NY; Victoria Kougher of New Iberia, LA; Andrew (Morgan) Kougher of Monroe, NC; Brandon Kougher of Seminole, FL; and Jordan (Ross) Cunningham of Hattiesburg, MS. Her great-grandchildren Luna O'Berry, Jaxson Kougher, Quinn Cunningham, and Cameron Terrell. Her brothers John (Deborah) Fox of Bergenfield, NJ and Richard (Brenda) Fox of Citrus Springs, FL. Her nephews Daniel (Lisa) Fox of Washington Township., NJ; Matthew (Kimberly) Fox of Tampa, FL; Tyler Fox of Citrus Springs, FL and niece Kendall Fox of Pearl River, NY. Her great-nephews Ryan and Aiden Fox, and great-niece Melody Fox.
The family will honor her memory with a quiet farewell. Please join us in celebrating Barbara's life with your memories, support, and condolences.
