Barbara M. Fiore

Barbara Danahy Fiore, 78, of Derry, New Hampshire, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Barbara was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1947 to Cornelius and Mildred Danahy. She lived with a strong faith and a big heart. Barbara spent years caring for her family, enjoyed going to the beach, and loved the local thrift store and having fun with those she loved, especially her great group of friends. Barbara was a hard worker, spending most of her career at the Internal Revenue Service. She was a loving mother who adored her son Shawn and her granddaughter Mia Rose.

Barbara was preceded in death by her late husband Robert J. Fiore, and is survived by her son Shawn T. Trainor, granddaughter Mia Rose Trainor and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 1 – 4pm at the Friendship Center, 6 Railroad Ave., Derry. Following cremation, a burial will be held at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
