Barbara I. Forzley

Barbara I. (Price) Forzley, 94, longtime Auburn resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in the comfort of her home. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George A. Forzley, who passed in 2007, as well as her sisters, Jeanne Price, Joanne Johnson, and Nancy LaFlash.
Barbara leaves many beloved nieces, nephews, including Ronald LaFlash (Delane), Nancy Pasquale (Joseph), Joanne Smith (James), Christine Polland (late Clint Polland), Gene Arbeeny, Edward Arbeeny (Ellen), Joyce Arbeeny Bartels (Edward), Paul Forzley (Pamela), Cynthia Forzley Galetto (Leo), and Cheryl Donohue (Michael); along with many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Barbara was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Milton and Isabel (Humphries) Price. She was raised and educated in Auburn, graduating from Auburn High School with the Class of 1950. She went on to attend and graduate from Salter Secretarial School, then attended Becker College and Georgetown University.
Barbara worked, for many years, as manager of the USPS Federal Credit Union in Merriffield, VA while she and George lived in Virginia.
She was an active and faithful member of Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church in Worcester, and enjoyed golfing in her free time.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Barbara's family from 5 – 7 PM on Friday November 14th at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral service will be held on Monday November 17th at 10 AM at Saint Matthew's Church, 695 Southbridge Street, Worcester – please proceed directly to church, parking is available behind the church. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Worcester.
