Barbara Frasca

Barbara (Naprstek) Frasca of Wethersfield, 86, wife of the late Thomas S. Frasca, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Stevens) Naprstek. Barbara was constantly on the move, tending to something or someone. Truly a visionary, she moved forward with an independent spirit as a woman studying and working in the engineering field, painting with watercolors, teaching art, sailing with Tom along the East Coast and circumnavigating New England, learning yoga, running with the bRUNch bunch, exploring the U.S. and Italy, winning a bronze medal in the Senior Olympics, and simply enjoying the beauty of nature created by God.
Barbara will be missed greatly by her son, John Frasca, and his wife BJ (Canfield) of Medfield, MA, and her daughter, Deborah (Frasca) Lansford, and her husband, John, of Spokane Valley, WA; her grandchildren-Suzanne (Frasca) and her husband, Colin MacEachern, Thomas Frasca and his wife, Kasey (Finn), Tyler Frasca, Blake Frasca and his wife, Chelsea (Carroll), and Nick Lansford; and her 3 great-grandchildren-Quinn, Grayson, and Jack. She also left her sister-in-law, Susan Naprstek, and was predeceased by her brother, Stevens Naprstek, her sister, Jean, and her husband, Joseph Proach.
Friends may call on the family on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Incarnation of Christ the King Parish, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield.
