Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home - CalhounBarbara Thomason Timms Gallman, 86, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025. She was born in Gordon County on April 12, 1939, to the late Clifford Hudon Thomason and Pauline Goble Thomason. She was a member of Sonoraville Baptist Church where she taught the Senior Adult 6 Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, James D. Timms; her second husband, Eddie Joe Gallman; brothers, Bill Thomason, Bates Thomason, and Donald Thomason; granddaughter, Ava Pauline Motes; granddaughter-in-law, Tanya Timms; and step-son, Jeff Gallman.
She is survived by her children, Sonja Fuquea (Ronald), Mitchell Timms (Linda), and Julie Motes (Mike); step-son, Joey Gallman (Susan); step-daughter-in-law, Tabitha Gallman; grandchildren, Adam North (Jessie), Lauren Fuquea (Sarah), Justin Timms (Jessica), Kody Timms (Jonathan), Luke Motes, Makenna Motes, Emma Gallman, Abbey Gallman, EJ Gallman, Ben Gallman (Ariel), JoAnna Gallman; great-grandchildren, Noah North, Bowen North, Langston Mezel-Fuquea, Jay Timms, Lilah Timms, and Ada Timms; along with brothers, Ed Thomason, and Larry Thomason (Janet); special niece, Sabrena Stanfield (Tim); and a host of other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 1pm until 3pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 3pm at the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Adam North and Rev. Jamey Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving are Justin Timms, Kody Timms, Luke Motes, Adam North, Noah North, and Bowen North. The members of the Senior Adult 6 Sunday School Class at Sonoraville Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to The Gideons International for Bibles.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Barbara Thomason Timms Gallman.
