Barbara Gerbasi Obituary
Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by husband of 64 years, Nicholas Gerbasi; children Lisa (Paul Goring), Joan, Kim (Tom Cole), Philip (Debbie Gerbasi) and David.
Grandchildren; Lindsey, Andrew, Dakoka, Zoe, Nicholas and Anthony.
Barbara was an accomplished freelance writer, She was an avid jogger, who ran several marathons. Later in life she took up ballet and would practive multiple times a week.
She cherished time with her family, and has left behind so many beautiful memories.
Barbara was 84.
A wake will be held at Fairchild Sons Funeral Chapel in Manhasset, January 25th from 3-5 and 7-9.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 26th at 11:45 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Manhasset.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation. Https:/www.alzdiscovery.org/donate.
