Barbara K. Goodrich, affectionately known as "Bobby," was born on September 23, 1933, in the vibrant city of Philadelphia. She embarked on her journey through life with a spirit that radiated warmth, kindness, and an altruistic devotion to those around her. A proud graduate of Girls High in Philadelphia, Barbara later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Radiation Therapy, reflecting her commitment to education and her desire to contribute meaningfully to the world of healthcare.
Barbara passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on December 11, 2025, enveloped by the love and warmth of her cherished family. Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She was a loving mother, selflessly dedicating her life to her three children. Her son; Warren Goodrich, along with his spouse Debara and their daughter Amanda; her son Bruce Goodrich and his spouse Gloria and her daughter and caregiver, Myrna Goodrich, formed the heart of her existence. They thrived in the nurturing environment she created, where love was freely given and kindness was the foundation of every relationship.
Barbara's personality was a reflection of her gentle and welcoming nature, making her a guiding light to her family and friends alike. Her proudest accomplishment was undeniably her role as a mother, which she undertook with grace and unwavering love. To those fortunate enough to enter her orbit, she was a selfless soul who wore her heart on the outside of her chest, ever ready to offer compassion and support.
As we celebrate the legacy of Barbara K. Goodrich, let us remember her not only for her achievements in her professional life but primarily for the unconditional love she extended to her family. Her influence will echo through generations, forming the basis of enduring values instilled in her children and the lives she touched.
A graveside service to honor her memory will be held at Roosevelt Memorial Park in Trevose, Pennsylvania, on December 16, 2025, commencing at 1:00 PM. Rabbi emeritus Gregory S. Marx, Congregation Beth Or, will officiate services.
