Barbara Jean Granison

Barbara Jean Granison, 76, of Woodbridge, VA, passed Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Woodbridge. Barbara was born in Columbus, daughter of the late Tobe McGhee and Hazel Dent McGhee. She was a member of Body of Christ International. She worked for the Columbus Health Department and also for Sun Trust Bank. She was the widow of the late Willie Granison.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Jarrell (Chrystal) Williams of Woodbridge, VA; two grandchildren, Cameron D. Williams and Hazel Marie Williams; two sisters, Molly McGhee Jones of Columbus, GA and Loistine McGhee-Sutton of Florissant, MO; Three nieces, Kay Wilson of Columbus, GA, Jacqueline (Larry) Melton of Leesburg, VA, and Selena Johnson of Phenix City, AL; seven nephews, Edward (Karla) Sutton, Jr. of St Louis MO, Ronald (Roponda) McGhee of Jacksonville, FL, Victor Jones of Columbus GA, Aamir Mahdee of Louisville, KY, Tobe McGhee of Tuskegee, AL, Marcus and Harold Wright of Birmingham, AL; Four Step-children, Mary, Michelle, Marsha and Mark Granison of Columbus, GA; a special cousin, Bobby Thompson of Fort Valley, GA; a host of Grand and Great Grand nieces and nephews; a close friend Thelma Granison and her church family.
