Barbara Harris Obituary
Born May 2, 1938, in Follansbee, West Virginia, she lived most of her life in Leavittsburg, Ohio. She retired from General Electric after 35 years. A woman of strong faith, Barbara was a founding member of the Leavittsburg Church of God.
She is survived by daughters, Twila (David) Garrett and Janet (Randy) Dye; sisters, Sarah Watson and Jean Murphy; grandchildren, David Garrett Jr. (Kiersten), Anna Garrett (Michael Halchuck), Robert Garrett, Greg Garrett, James Dye, and Heather Dye; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harris; parents, Anna and Wilbert Haught; and sister, LeeAnna Haught.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Life Church in Leavittsburg, Ohio, where a memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m.
