Barbara (Ross) Havely, 81, of Slater, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025 with family at her side. Born August 28, 1943, in Gering, NE, to Jake and Christine Ross, Barb graduated from Gering High School in 1961 & married Melvin Havely from Slater, WY in 1962. Barb was a phenomenal cook and baker. She was a long-time 4-H leader, winning top honors for her service, and was an active member of the Slater Women's Club. Barb was predeceased by her parents, husband, and her two brothers and sisters-in-law, Warren & Ruth and Leon and Katie Ross. She's survived by son Kelly, daughters Candace (Mark) Havely & Crystal (Marc) Stratton, granddaughters, Madalynn & Macey Stratton, niece Kim (Ross) Tomoi and nephew Ted Ross. A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Davis Hospice Center (Cheyenne, WY).
