Ms. Barbara June Hethcote

Barbara June Hethcote age 87 years of Paulsboro passed away on Saturday November 22, 2025 in Inspira Hospital, Mullica Hill. She was born in Camden and was a life long Paulsboro resident. Barbara worked as an LPN for many years at Shady Lane until her retirement. Afterwards, she continued to work as an LPN at the Gloucester County Jail. She liked to garden, care for the cats in her neighborhood and play Bingo.

She is survived by her son, Norman and Jessie Swindell of Pennsville; her granddaughter, Jessica and T.J. Krick; her great grandchildren, Donovan and Khloe; her sister, Marion Vitullo of Paulsboro; her nieces, Linda, Christina and Maryann and her nephews, Jason, Keith, Bill and Sean. Barbara was predeceased by her daughter, Jill Swindell; her sisters, Lillian and Joan and her brothers, Bob and Bill.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday December 13, 2025 in Pennsville Assembly of God Church, 328 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday morning after 10 AM until service time in church. Inurnment Private. Arrangements by McBride – Foley Funeral Home, Paulsboro.
