I want to offer my deepest sympathy to Barb's family and close friends...I was lucky enough to work with her at Bell Atlantic 20 years ago, and we had so much fun! Though our hearts are heavy and filled with sadness, love will carry us through. Many, many memories of happiness and laughter make us smile. I will be grateful always for the love and support of a second Mom who was there because she wanted to be, not because she had to be. We will miss you, and as we celebrate your life, we have peace in knowing that while it may be goodbye for now, it is not good bye forever. We love you.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Mommy,
There aren't enough words to express how much I'm going to miss you. This poem fit you to a T. You truly lived by it's words.
I love you
Life is short, break the rules ,forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

We are so very sorry for your loss. When you lose a Mom, you lose a best friend, a shoulder to cry on, a tireless supporter of your dumbest actions and an endless stream of unconditional love.
