Barbara Holmes Obituary
She was employed at Genesis Health Care Center in its dietary department at the time of her passing.
A private service of remembrance will be held by her family and closest friends.
Barbara is survived by her mother, Linda Witherington Pike and husband, Joey Pike, of Mount Olive; a sister, Jackie Lynn Ward of Mount Olive; three brothers, Charles Lee Holmes of Seven Springs, Jesse "J.L." Taylor of Mount Olive, and Tim Taylor of near Charlotte. She is also survived by her significant other, Jerry Thorneberry of Goldsboro, who held a very special place in her life.
Her father was the late Hoyt Lee Holmes.
