Barbara Ann House, 84, of Columbus, went home to be with the lord on September 26, 2025. She was born July 10, 1941 in Springfield, Ohio and was the eldest daughter of Cory House and Irene (Mosley) House. She lived in Los Angeles, California for many years where she worked and retired as a security guard from Sony Pictures after 20 years. After retiring, Barbara then moved back to Ohio, to Columbus to be closer to family.
Ms. House was preceded in death by her mother Irene (Mosley) House, her father Cory House, her sisters Judith (House) Coles and Edith (House) Brewster. She is survived by her son John “Tony” (Linda) Donnell of Columbus, Ohio; her brother William “Billy” (Henrietta) House of Springfield, Ohio; her sister Pamela (Robert) Moss of Dayton, Ohio; 3 grandchildren John Donnell of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Che-Che Donnell of Indianapolis, Indiana and Allyiah Donnell of Columbus, Ohio; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
