Barbara Joyce Howard, age 71 years, of the Wolf Ridge Community, died Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her grandson’s home in Revelo, Kentucky.
She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on November 21, 1954 the daughter of the late Rev. Elisha and Leatrice “Toots” (Tucker) Clark. Barbara had worked in factories as a machine operator and was a member of the Calvary Hill United Baptist Church in Ohio County, Kentucky. She enjoyed watching General Hospital, playing games on her phone, going to yard sales, and thrift stores.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Elisha Wayne Clark; and sister, Della Moore.
Survivors include her sons, Jon Howard (Karena) and Eli Howard (Delisa) both of Stearns, Kentucky; daughter, Shannon King of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sisters, Donna Kessinger of Ohio County, Kentucky and Debra Bryant of Livermore, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Denton (BreeLynn), Nate (Lydia), Gavin, Lilly, Kylen, Mario (Natasha), and Jordan.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Nathaniel Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Funeral Home.
