She was born August 11, 1958 in Virginia, the daughter of the late John Kelsie Lawson and Ollie Bea Grace Brummitt Lawson.
Bobbie was formerly employed in senior care.
She was a member of Proclaim Ministries who also loved going to the library.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Rodney "Roy" Ellis Sherwood, Sr.; children: Mark Sherwood and wife Michelle, John Sherwood and wife Bobbie, Cindy Borne and significant other Walter Corbin, Rodney Ellis Sherwood, Jr. and wife Brenda; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters: Becky Adkins, Lois Smith, Jane Burkhead; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends: Rebecca Maxie, Barbara Maxie, and Robert England.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Joan Ellis, Sammy Lawson, JB Lawson, Doris Lawson, Herbert Lawson, Lenny Lawson, and Thelma Collins.
A private family memorial will be conducted at a later date
Memorial contributions may be made to Craigsville Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.

My first memory of my Aunt Bobby was when I was 9 or so year old and my mom and dad went to visit her in Richmond off nine mile road . She tried my sandals on and she says to me " look Angela me and you got the same feet size " I laughed at her and said don't you mean shoe size ? She said ( after age finished laughing) yeah darn it lol ... I will truly miss her She was my favorite aunt , we had so very many good times together . We spent lots of time together going places , She loved to come down to my house when I loved in va and stay for weeks at a time. She loved her family and we loved her . You maybe gone but never forgotten. Fly high aunt Bobby. You're with your mom now , no more pain , no more hurt . You earned your wings ...

Aunt Bobby , I can't believe you're gone . We had so many good times and more . I will miss you always . Gone but never forgotten . I am so glad that you got to see your great nephew our son before you went home to the Lord . Love you always .
