Barbara Jones Obituary
Visitation will be at Hartman Jones Funeral Home on Friday evening, December 19, 2025 from 4 PM until 7 PM and Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church 2142 Barnett Rd. Summit, MS from 10:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Barron Bethany Cemetery in McComb. Bro. James Quin and Rev. Glen Crane will officiate.
Pallbearers will be David Wyatt, Alan Rimes, Jody Smith, Bobby Coon, Jesse Adams, and Clay Cutrer.
Mrs. Jones was born on January 6, 1942 in McComb, MS to the late Luther Brewer and Mable Brewer.
Mrs. Jones graduated from McComb High School in 1959. After graduation, she married the love of her life Glenn E. Jones on January 29, 1961. She was a secretary for John Gordan Roach. She enjoyed playing the piano, playing at Fellowship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her husband of 63 years, Glenn E. Jones, two brothers Donald "Bo Dick" Brewer and Lee Roy "Buddy" Brewer, three sisters Vera Brister, Catherine Rushing, Eyvonne "Coote" Horn, and her sister-in-law Rita Jones.
She is survived by two daughters Glenda Dianne Rimes and her husband Alan; Kimberly Denise Coon and her husband Bobby; son Jeffrey Glenn Jones and his wife Audrey; brother-in-law Jerry Lee Jones; grandchildren Glen Rimes, Danielle Rimes, Stephanie Rimes Sterling, Dalton Jones, Brooke Jones Smith and Karlie Jones; great grandchildren Autumn Blake Smith, Ava Jane Smith, and Nova Ann Sterling; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Fellowship Baptist Church in memory of Barbara Jones.
