Barbara O Kennedy

Barbara Ollis Kennedy, age 91, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in Oak Ridge TN. Barbara was born May 20, 1934, to the late Boyd E. and Ina M. Ollis in Oliver Springs, TN. She was a dedicated member of the Blue Bird Society for Bellsouth and retired from Bellsouth (currently AT&T) in 1999 after over 20+ years of dedicated work.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Kennedy, a brother John A. Ollis along with aunts and uncles.

Barbara is survived by her children: Judy and husband Mike Brown of Oliver Springs, TN, David and wife Debbie McCarroll of Crossville, TN, Ron and wife Charlotte Arms of Knoxville, TN and Charles and wife Darlena Arms of St. Louis, MO. Also, survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of NHC in Oak Ridge for the continuous and gracious care they provided for their mother over the last couple years.

The family will have Receiving of Friends on Thursday, April 2, 2026, between the hours of 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN. Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be Friday, April 3, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Orchard View Baptist Church Cemetery in Oliver Springs, TN.
