Jean, I so appreciate the message you left about your mother. We were out of town until Christmas night so I would not have known. Please accept my sincere sympathy. Your mother was a mentor to me and helped get many literacy programs started across Indiana, including here in Steuben County. I had planned to come down to FW and see her sometime but, sadly, I never got there. I feel bad about that. Barbara was a strong, organized, dedicated, caring and talented woman. I had lived in southern Ontario (Grimsby) for about 3 years so we also had discussions about the Kitchner market, Barrie, and more. I know she is happy to be reunited with your father but I also know she will be missed by all of you. You'll be in my prayers.
