Barbara Ann Latham, 76, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. Final arrangements are pending and will be updated as soon as they are available.
Barbara was born on May 2, 1949 in Booneville, MS to Mary Helen Dawson Rockett and Buddy Dawson. She adored her dogs and was a faithful supporter of the ASPCA. Everyone who knew her knew that dogs were her life. Barbara was also passionate about caring for her home, getting involved with home improvement projects, and always down for a game of Mexican Train. She constantly had something going on. Barbara was the type of person who never slowed down and kept herself busy. She was a strong and independent woman.
Left to cherish Barbara's memory are her daughters, Leslie Lebaron (Robert) of Southaven, MS and Joy Palmer of Bartlett, TN; granddaughter, Haley Sizemore (Oliver) of Nesbit, MS; grandsons, Josh Brown (Ashley) of Walls, MS, Payten Altemose and Logan Altemose, both of Bartlett; great-granddaughters, Avery Brown and Eleanor Sizemore; great-grandsons, Jase Brown and Jaxson Altemose; sister, Paulette Markham (Charles) of New Market, AL; and extended family members and many close friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Helen Dawson Rockett and Buddy Dawson; and sister, Betty Hefferman.
In lieu of traditional flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Barbara's honor to the ASPCA. www.ASPCA.org
