Barbara J. Laverty, 65, passed away on March 5, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She leaves behind her sons, Cody Lawler (Briana) and Dylan Lawler (Ciara); her cherished grandchildren, McKenna, Liam, Addison, Theodore, and Archer; her sisters, Deborah Laverty (Larry) and Susan Spanswick; and her brothers, David Laverty (Karen) and Robert Laverty (Roberta). She now rests in peace with her parents, Arnold Laverty and Janet (Hoffman) Laverty.
Barbara’s strength, kindness, and love will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY, 12205 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.
