Barbara Laws Obituary
Barbara Jean Collette Laws passed away peacefully, November 23, 2025, surrounded by family.
Barbara is survived by her children, Jeannie (Ronnie) Luttrell, Jimmie Ruth Laws, and James Harold Laws Jr.; one grandson, Dr. Tyler James (Leslie) Laws; one great-grandson, T.J. Laws; one brother, Buddy Collette of Virginia; and one sister, Priscilla Collette of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Laws Sr.; a daughter, Kathryn Marie Laws, a step-granddaughter, Toushawa Davis; her parents, Clarence and Bertram Collette; and a brother, Joe Collette.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11-12 at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The graveside service will be held at 12:30 at Rheatown Cemetery with Pastor Randall Emmert officiating. Family and friends will be pallbearers.
