Barbara Jane Lee

Funeral services for Barbara Jane Lee will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023, at First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville. The burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Barbara was born October 28, 1937, in Searcy, Arkansas and passed away May 2, 2023, in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 85. She was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church where she played the piano and was active in the women's ministry when her health permitted. Barbara was a talented seamstress who enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and working with ceramics. She volunteered at the Vernon Parish Senior Center where she taught crocheting. For a while, Barbara worked for the Vernon Parish 4-H Extension Office and would help organize Senior Citizen Day at the Forestry Festival.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Delvin Osborn Lee; parents, Vernon and Jane Fisher; and sister, Charlotte Fisher Cassidy.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Daniel Ray Lee and wife Frankie of Leesville and Timothy Alan Lee of Converse, TX;
grandchildren, Amanda Lambright & husband Terry, Matthew Lee, and Curtis Lee;
great-grandchildren, Peyton Lambright, Marshal Lambright, Davian Lee, and Winter Lee;
sisters-in-law, Joyce Dean & husband Ronnie, Libby O'Brien & husband Pat, & Juanita Lee;
and extended family members.
