Barbara Elaine Lewis

BARBARA ELAINE LEWIS, 83, went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Helen Call; sisters, Emma "Tiny" Dooley, Sharon Pendry, Virginia Sue Call, and Lois Shope.
Barbara is survived by husband of 38 and a half years, Douglas Lewis; children, Tammy (Doug) Nesbitt, Terry (Laura) Lilly, Kevin (Jennifer) Steele, Angie (Tony) Lee, and Josh (Amy) Lewis; grandchildren, Ty (Martha) Lilly, Cody (Alena) Lee, Ashlea (Chris Alvino) Lilly, Aubrey Lilly, Brent (Tabor) Steele, Elly Lewis, Kamron Steele, Kailey Steele, and Sydney Lewis; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Gary (the late Mary) Call, Charlotte Means, Kathy (Al) Taynor, and Ed Call.
Barbara was a Wheelersburg High School Graduate, class of 1960. Barbara spent many years bowling and she was the captain of the Southern Ohio March of Dimes organization for 10 years. She loved to cook for her family, especially during family gatherings. Barbara enjoyed playing cards with her family. She retired from Kroger as a pharmacy tech, where she was employee of the month several times. Barbara attended Sciotodale Freewill Baptist Church, where she and Doug were baptized. Her grandchildren were her life and she loved to spend time with them, especially camping together. Barbara will be remembered for her joy and positive outlook, and always smiling.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
